Effective July 16, COLT will discontinue its shared ride service to Dauphin County.

However, riders will still be able to travel there using the fixed- routes to Hershey, including the medical center and outlets.

The most affordable method will be catching a bus at one of COLT's fixed-route terminals. If finding a way to fixed-route terminal is a concern, a shared-ride can be arranged to take passengers to a terminal by calling 274-3514. On the return trip the fixed-route bus driver will contact the shared-ride division to arrange a ride for the passenger back home. A ticket for both the fixed-route and shared-ride must be purchased.

Comfort and convenience will not be sacrificed with this change - like the ParaTransit vans, COLT's fixed-route buses are wheelchair accessible.
